K3 Auto Electrics was established in Albion, an inner north Brisbane suburb, Australia in 1995.

As a small independent workshop servicing the needs of some major European car dealerships cost efficient solutions to many problems were a necessity. Our particular field of interest being air cooled Porsche 911 alternator performance in demanding Australian conditions and in particular in competition events.

A higher output direct replacement unit was developed using quality Bosch components and local manufactured items. This unit has been tested in a wide range of vehicles from off road buggy type racers, to all manner of 911, 6 cylinder 914, coupes to 1989 Porches.

The unit has been exported world wide, and has been the subject of Tehcnical articles in the English magazine "911and Porsche World" and the major American magazine "Excellence".
